What is TAG?

TAG is The Academic Gym.

TAG is a multisensory academic enrichment and physical fitness program where kids exercise their bodies and minds at the same time. TAG trains the body and the brain as kids use exciting cognitive-athletic drills to master crucial math and reading skills. Kids learn focus, agility, confidence, toughness, and speed while they spell, add, jump, and run for learning, fitness, and fun.

How does exercise make kids smarter?

Exercise causes nutrient rich blood to flow to the brain. Exercise also stimulates the growth of brain cells.

How old do kids have to be to begin exercising at The Academic Gym?

We train kids from kindergarten to third grade.

Why do kids love TAG?

TAG motivates kids to learn because we combine learning, fitness, and fun. Kids also get rewarded for achieving athletic and academic milestones. They receive certificates, colored shirts, and headbands that reflect their accomplishments and TAG-MASTER status.

How much does TAG cost?

TAG training sessions cost $75 per session with a minimum of four classes per month. Students attend at least one training session per week for one hour each time.

Where is TAG’s location?

TAG is currently located at 30 Elm Street in Tuckahoe, Westchester.

What is TAG’s schedule?

TAG begins in the first week of September from 1-4 pm.
